OpenIntro - openintro.org

Chris Barr and I began the OpenIntro project in early 2009. The initial goal of the project was to write a free and open source introductory statistics book that was of high enough quality to compete with for-profit texts. Mine Çetinkaya, Filipp Brunshteyn, Meenal Patel, and Rob Gould joined the project in Fall 2009, and the Preliminary Edition of OpenIntro: Statistics was born in July 2010.

The project has since expanded to include supplements, a website, and other tools as we work on the First Edition and set our sites beyond statistics.
